To make the proper changes in the kiln parameters to minimize the per-unit firing costs, it is necessary to identify the critical parameters and establish the current value of each. Kiln parameters include the firing cycle, load characteristics, temperature uniformity, productivity, and fuel consumption.
Managerial Behavior As in any economy or society, the difference between success and failure is the “people factor” in managerial behavior. Our success in the sanitary-ware industry will rely heavily on how well we serve as managers to control the fundamentals in this inflationary or disinflationary economy. These fundamentals are liquidity, productivity, and profitability. Liquidiq: In inflationary times, liquidity is more important than earnings. Therefore, those companies that know how to handle their cash flow will be more able to survive than those that may even be imaginative enough to provide impressive earnings reports.

We are now considering ways to improve the targeting of inspections in other hazardous industries, including construction, logging, and maritime activities.
