Other tools target scientific applications, where computational accuracy is crucial and simulation time drops to second place. Available software includes the Mathworks SimMechanics toolbox for MATLAB product or Bullet Physics Library, which is an open source physics engine developed by Erwin Coumans et al. The question arises as to whether it is justified to create new software from scratch if many similar products are available. Our effort is not only dedicated to create the simulation environment, but also to gain deeper insight into the laws of physics, which apply to satellite motion, software development process gives a great opportunity to do so.

The logical implementation of the Busola simulator is shown in Fig. 3. The simulator consists of four main groups of elements: • Busola—It is the core of the simulator. It calls methods from other classes. It is responsible for interaction with user, reading and storing a current configuration. The radiometric resolution is, however, not the principal parameter of the above mentioned imaging devices. The ToF (Time-of-flight) camera is an imaging device that measures the time of flight of an electromagnetic wave between an illuminator, a lens and a camera (Fig. 1) to create an image; therefore, it is applying the usage of active scene illumination. What distinguishes ToF camera from stereoscopic camera is that the first one uses single detection unit (detector array and a lens) 3D image acquisition instead of two units in stereo cameras.
